Hey there, friend! My name is Rae, and I'm the Vintage Home Glow Team Lead. I’m so glad you popped by! I’ve always loved the thrill of a good hustle—back in 2019, my old business career was a total rush. But long hours meant I was missing out on real life with my family (and my dog!). 2020 changed that, of course. Sometime after the pandemic slowed down and I headed back into the office, I realized that while even though was so good to see my old colleagues again... something had fundamentally changed for me. It was time for something new. So, I became part organizer, part listener, and full-on friend in the process. Along the way, I realized that vintage home decor is really fun! Pretty soon, I was helping people donate, swap, and sell things online—because honestly, it breaks my heart to see perfectly good items end up in the trash. Fast-forward two years, and this has become my new adventure. I’m saving gorgeous things from landfills, helping people find just what they’ve been looking for, and giving folks a chance to pass on what they no longer need. Sometimes that extra cash goes a long way, and sometimes it’s just about the peace of mind. I often write about the "Vintage Home Glow Team." While technically I'm what they call a vintage home decor reseller or solopreneur, I actually have lots of friends, family, and acquaintances who I get to work with day to day. For example: one friend is the queen of estate sales, another of thrift shops, and one is - incredibly and amazingly - willing to sit and help me catalog and pack. T here 's an incredible shop in Needham where the owner helps me with coins and rarer historical artifacts, I'm in contact with some local book sellers, and once I even got to meet one of the great folks on Antiques Roadshow! And yes! He confirmed the item was real and worth quite a bit (I was so so glad I had gently stopped the owner from just throwing it out.) We sold it at auction, my client got a big windfall, and I got a bonus plus a real confidence boost. But the best part?
